    Sounding the Trumpet

1st Thessalonians 4:16-17: "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the

trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord"

One of the most important and prophetic verses in the entire Bible, 1st Thessalonians 4:16 speaks clearly on what has become known amongst theologians and Christians as "The Rapture", referring to the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, when he appears in the clouds at the shout of the archangel and the sound of the trumpet, the "trump of God" to take His servants to their new eternal home. The word "rapture" can mean a feeling of intense joy, and this will be the overwhelming emotion of those blessed souls who having surrendered their lives to God have guaranteed their journey into the clouds to meet the King of Kings, King Jesus Christ and their everlasting place with Him and the Father in heaven. Those souls left on the earth will face the Judgement of Revelation and the wrath of God for their transgressions, rebellion and unrepentance. Mark 16:16: "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned."

TrumpofGod.com is sounding the trumpet as a warning signal of the End of the Age to all people, believers and non-believers alike. Proverbs 11:30 states "The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise." We are called to "preach the Gospel to every creature" and to win souls to the Lord. The time is Now and the hour is late. If not Now, when? If not you, then who?

The Bible says the day of the Lord will come "as a thief in the night", terrible and unexpected...but only to those who do not know God. Our Father in heaven has given us the Book of Revelation and the warnings of His beloved Son Jesus, so that those who believe and who have surrendered their lives to God, spotless and blameless in the Blood of Jesus, will be ready for the greatest day of their lives.

Luke 21:36: "Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man."
